Personal Data

Your Research handles all personal data collected via the app confidentially and processes it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Your Research is located at Zeeweg 28, 1271VX in Huizen. Your Research has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be reached at privacy@yourresearch.com or by calling +31(0)85 0043 969.

The personal data processed vary by study. In collaboration with research institutions, Your Research aims for data minimization: only personal data that are strictly necessary are processed. Your personal data are processed to enable the use of the app, to determine if you meet the age requirement set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and to enable research institutions to conduct research.

Your Research only shares your personal data with the research institution conducting the study you are participating in. Third parties are engaged for technical support of the app and data hosting. The data is hosted on servers within the European Union. Your Research has implemented appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and is certified according to ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 standards.

All your personal data are kept for up to 20 years after the completion of the study. To protect your privacy, your data is coded. The data sent to the research institution only contains this code, not your name or other identifiable information. Similarly, reports and publications about the study cannot trace data back to you. However, some individuals, such as those receiving your data and those verifying the integrity and reliability of the research, can see your name and other personal data without the code. These individuals are bound by confidentiality.

If you are inactive for twelve months, you will be asked if you wish to continue using the app.
